Many animals like the Slow Loris, the Mousedeer and the Common Porcupine are all either rare or extinct in the Nature Reserve, but it has not been proven yet. Others that can be seen are the Long-tailed Macaque, the Singapore Rat, the Tree Shrew, the Flying Lemur and the Common Red-bellied Squirrel.
The Tree Shrew is a rat or squirrel-like animal, it has a long pointed snout. Brown on the back, it has a reddish shoulder stripe running to the back of the body, and reddish underparts.
