Snakes
The chances of encountering with a snake in the Nature Reserve are slim. Most wish to avoid anybody and will try to do so. However, if bitten, stay calm and tie a tourniquet between the bite and the heart. The Blue-necked Keelback is a 60 cm long snake is commonly found close to the water's edge, where it hunts small frogs. The body is brown or red above, with a black stripe running down the back. The common Asiatic Toad is a typical toad, some having a dry, warty brown skin.
